Dr Kaly went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and make the experience positive. She explained the process very clearly and reassured me that I was always in control. I would definitely recommend Dr Kaly to anyone looking for a dentist, especially if you are a nervous patient.

Oral health for your entire family

General Dentistry: our approach

We’re deeply proud to be the trusted dentist to over 3,000 patients in and around Chelmsford, Danbury, and Maldon.

Over 3,000 smiles, each one unique, that we have the pleasure to care for. And we warmly invite everyone to our delightful private practice.

Do you have one of these concerns at the moment?
  • Noticing blood on your toothbrush or in the sink after cleaning your teeth.
  • Sensitivity to hot/cold temperatures
  • A bad taste in your mouth
  • Discomfort or even agony whenever you chew or bite down
  • You’ve been diagnosed with a medical condition which could have repercussions for your oral health.

Please know that we are here and ready to lend a hand.

At Danbury Dental Care, our aim is not merely to treat the symptoms but to address the root causes of your dental issues, providing you with lasting relief and improved oral health.

Sensitivity to hot or cold, for instance, can often be traced back to exposed dentine; we can help protect these sensitive areas and recommend specialised products for you to use at home.

Bleeding gums? It might be the first sign of gum disease, but don’t worry. We’ll start with a comprehensive assessment, then guide you on how to maintain a top-notch oral hygiene routine to keep gum disease at bay.

Perhaps bad breath or a persistently unpleasant taste is troubling you. These symptoms can sometimes hint at more serious dental conditions, but with our expertise, we can determine the cause and craft a tailored treatment plan just for you.

We understand that certain medical conditions may have an impact on your oral health, and we are equipped to support you in managing this aspect of your health, too. For those with dental restorations, we are here to ensure these continue to function well and serve you effectively for many years to come.

General Dental Treatments

We firmly believe in the principle of minimally invasive dentistry: doing the least harm to preserve as much of your natural tooth structure as possible.

Our primary goal? To ensure that you and your entire  family can flash those beautiful, healthy smiles for years to come!

Now, let’s delve a little deeper into our offerings:

Check-ups

Our regular check-ups are far more than a mere ‘peek’ into your mouth. Scheduled every six months, they allow us to monitor the nuances of your oral health, mapping changes over time. From your teeth and gums to the underlying bone, we assess all aspects to ensure nothing slips by us. Additionally, we empower you with proactive advice and effective at-home care strategies to help you maintain a beaming, healthy smile.

Composite Fillings

When it comes to filling cavities, we opt for composite fillings. Unlike the traditional silver amalgam, these tooth-coloured fillings blend seamlessly with your natural teeth. Beyond aesthetics, they also require less removal of your tooth structure, adhering strongly to your tooth and providing a layer of protection against temperature changes and further decay.

Root Canal Treatment

When an infection breaches the outer layers of your tooth and reaches the core, it can result in severe pain and discomfort. Our root canal treatments aim to alleviate this pain. We carefully remove the infected tissue, clean the inner chambers, and seal the tooth to prevent future infection.

General and Complex Surgical Extractions

Despite our best efforts to save every tooth, there are instances when an extraction becomes necessary for the sake of your overall oral health. In such cases, we apply our expertise in both general and complex surgical extractions. We make use of modern techniques and anaesthesia to minimise discomfort during and after the procedure.

Dentures

We understand the impact of tooth loss on quality of life. Hence, we offer custom-made dentures that closely resemble your natural teeth. Whether you need to replace a few teeth (partial dentures) or all of them (complete dentures), we strive to ensure your new dentures fit well, look natural, and allow you to chew, speak, and smile with renewed confidence.
